Chapter 46
天下有道，却走马以粪；天下无道，戎马生于郊。祸莫大于不知足，咎莫大于欲得，故知足之足，常足矣。
When the world has the Tao, warhorses are retired to plow the fields. When the world lacks the Tao, warhorses are bred at the frontier. No disaster is greater than not knowing contentment; no fault is greater than the desire for gain. Therefore, the contentment that comes from knowing when to be content is eternal contentment.

天下有道的时候，战马退回来耕种田地；天下无道的时候，连怀孕的母马都要上战场。最大的祸害莫过于不知足，最大的过错莫过于贪得无厌。所以知道满足的那种满足，才是永远的满足。
